Rose’s Last Chance is located in Sironko district in eastern Uganda, on the western entrance to Mount Elgon National Park, directly opposite the park’s visitors’ centre. Rose’s Last Chance is at an altitude of 1,250 meters and it offers great views of the peaks of Mount Elgon.
There are seven single and double bedrooms at Rose’s Last Chance. The guest house offers dormitory accommodation of up to 20 people for a night. The self tenting accommodation is offered at the campsite that is furnished with showers and flush toilets. There are many camping gears at the camp. Services offered at Rose’s Last Chance include; organizing nature walks for guests who wish to explore the broad base of Mountain Elgon, which slopes right down to the campsite. Walkers will get to enjoy viewing Sipi waterfalls on the ridges and also adventure mountain side caves. The trips are carried out in a 4WD vehicle, but motorcycles are usually available for hire.
