    Kapkwai forest exploration center is an education center commonly used by schools, tertiary institutions, universities, researchers, and nature lovers or birders. It is ideal for a day trip- providing you with an amazing insight into Elgon forest while encountering beautiful flora and fauna.     Kapkwai exploration center is endowed with eye-catching attractions that mesmerize visitors such as Black and white Columbus Monkeys, Blue Monkeys, beautiful cascading waterfalls, historical caves, and a long list of different species of birds spotted both at the secondary and primary forests not forgetting the bamboo zones as well.

Away from Sipi town continue to Chema trading center, branch off to the left-hand side on a marram road and this takes you about 15 minutes to Kapkwai forest exploration center.
