The Sipi Falls Hike takes you to explore Mount Elgon National Park. Sipi Falls itself is situated in Kapchorwa district in Eastern Uganda. The falls comprises of 3 seasonal waterfalls all near and in view of Mountain Elgon National Park.
You will have the most exciting day hike around these three (3) waterfalls, so your day tour to Sipi falls will be an outstanding drive through Jinja and Iganga towns then into Mbale town. Our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel or place of residence in Kampala ready to set off to Mbale. driving through Jinja and Iganga town and Mbale town to Sipi region in Kapchorwa district. The journey is approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival in Mbale, you may take a break with a cup of coffee while taking briefings from the local guide before taking on the hike.
You will then start the hike to Sipi Falls and visit the waterfalls overlooking Sipi River Lodge and eventually visit the other two other waterfalls. The day hike can last up to 3hrs, reaching the waterfalls on a steep hill as you climb up.
All this journey takes you through the community with views of the rolling hills. You will then embark on the hike with lunch at your preferred hotel or lodge in Mbale town before setting off back to Kampala, arriving late in the evening. You will be dropped off to your choice hotel in Kampala or Entebbe.

NOTE: Your Sipi Falls Hike Day tour essentials include a cap/hut, sunglasses and a rain jacket. You will also need at least 2 litres of water, a fully charged camera or with enough spare batteries and light clothes in your backpack.
